He continued to rain an unending amount of blows on the Empty Lord. The walls of his castle were shaking with force, but the Empty Lord didn't fall. He fought on, even using the weapon of gods embedded within him, but each blow caused our victory to seem less certain ..."
Viggora. What is Zaros his real alignment? What is his real motive? Does he really mean to be evil or good. Many, such as Senliten the Pharaoh Queen, see him as a foul creature who allied himself with all the wicked creatures in the world. But, others like Eblis suggest that Zaros was not in fact evil, and the same is true for Akthanakos as well as Azzanadra. Azzanadra appears to be an honest Mahjarrat and opted for diplomacy over than mass murder and mind control in the Digsite.
This is completely contrary to all that we have read about the Mahjarrat. It was believed to be vicious, wicked creatures. While the zamorakian ones like Zemouregal and Lucien are certainly bad but are the zarosian ones. Ali the Wise says that we don’t have enough information on them to be able to label them as a threat. The zamorakian threat is more concerning due to recent events with Lucien and Zemouregal.
You are requested to assist Azzanadra disguised as Dr. Nabanik to restore the zarosian temple beneath the Digsite. Azzanadra can connect with Zaros via the Communion Portal, located near the altar after the restoration is completed. Azzanadra will stay in contact with him to learn more details about how he can return him to Gielinor. We are not sure what he's up to however, Azzanadra instructed us to keep this information secret. Yes, Zaros needs us. But for what, only time will tell...
You may remember that I created a thread in March about the Q&A that Paul and other members had suggested that Zaros would return. It's a good thing I was correct. What do you think about this?
